Herald announces its partnership with Bunker, a leading digital brokerage specializing in coverage for small businesses and contractors.
Through the partnership, Bunker gains access to a growing list of API-enabled insurance products from Herald’s carrier partners, to offer contractors and small business owners the coverage they need. This has allowed Bunker to expand from roughly 50 automatically-quoted classes of business to more than 400.
“This collaboration with Herald is a great milestone for our business,” said Bunker’s Head of Insurance Ryne Ring. “Herald’s API and their carrier experience will greatly simplify our integrations and their network of major carriers is a great asset to inherit. We look forward to watching the partnership grow, and to working continually alongside the Herald team to add additional carriers and additional coverages to Bunker’s offering.”
“Partnering with innovative, effective distributors is fundamental to Herald’s goal of expanding access to small commercial insurance,” said Matthew Antoszyk, CEO at Herald. “The Bunker team is unique in their expertise in the always-growing, still-underserved contractor segment and has an impressive track record of satisfied customers. We are excited to support Bunker as they continue serving contractors and other small business owners and work toward their vision as a complete platform for small commercial insurance.”
Beginning today, Bunker can offer General Liability policies via integration with Herald’s API, with plans to expand into Workers’ Compensation, Cyber, and Business Owners Policy (BOP).
Bunker is a digital brokerage embedding liability insurance into the contracting process. Our no-code integrations allow small businesses and individuals to get fast, affordable, and accurate Certificates of Insurance right from their contracts or onboarding flows.
